Terms of service
These terms apply to the AnySwipe app and this website. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. For users in France, the French-language version of these terms prevails.
The service
AnySwipe helps you discover and track anime, TV series and films, and can identify a title from your own description using AI search. Catalogue data comes from MyAnimeList, TVMaze, TMDB and YouTube; we do not control it and cannot guarantee its accuracy or availability.
Your account
An account is required to sync your watchlists. Keep your credentials private and use one account per person; sharing an account is not permitted. AnySwipe is intended for users aged 13 and over.
Free plan
The free plan includes the full discovery and tracking experience, supported by advertising, and up to 3 AI searches per rolling 7-day period.
AnySwipe Plus
AnySwipe Plus is an optional subscription that removes advertising and unlocks unlimited AI search, subject to the fair-use policy below. Plus is billed through Google Play, monthly or annually, at the price shown in the app for your region, and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your Google Play subscriptions; access continues until the end of the period already paid. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy.
Because Plus starts immediately, by subscribing you request that the service begins during the 14-day withdrawal period and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal ends once it has started. We may change the price or contents of Plus with at least 30 days' notice in the app; changes never apply to a period you have already paid for.
AI search fair use
Unlimited AI search means you never have to count searches in normal use. To keep the feature available to everyone, it is subject to a fair-use policy: 100 AI searches per rolling 30-day period, after which AI search continues at 2 searches per rolling 24 hours until earlier searches leave the 30-day window. Searches that return no result are not counted, within reason. AI search never stops entirely for an active subscriber, and every other Plus benefit is unaffected. Automated, scripted or shared-account use is not permitted. We may adjust these figures with notice in the app and will not reduce them during a period you have already paid for.
Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the service, circumvent quotas or subscription checks, reverse-engineer the app, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

What we store and why is described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Third-party services
Linking MyAnimeList is optional and subject to MyAnimeList's own terms; you can unlink it at any time from the profile screen. Purchases made through Google Play are also subject to Google Play's terms.
Availability and liability
The app is provided as is. We aim for, but do not guarantee, uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses or for inaccuracies in third-party catalogue data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the statutory rights of consumers.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the app at least 30 days before they take effect and dated at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after that date means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. Consumers in the European Union also benefit from the mandatory protections of their country of residence. Before taking legal action, please contact us. Consumers in France may use a consumer mediator free of charge, or the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
